Banking When and Where I Want To Do It? YES, please!

Lucky for me, I work for a bank and can conveniently walk across the street from my office building to do my banking.  I also live less than 2 miles away from the Susquehanna Bank branch in my town and there are Susquehanna branches everywhere that I do my local errands.  But sometimes I’m too busy at work to walk across the street to do my banking and it never fails, I usually forget the check that I need to deposit while I’m out running my errands!

Well, thanks to a new service offered by Susquehanna Bank, I can now deposit checks from the convenience of my own home, in my jammies if I want to!  Oh, I’m excited!  By downloading Susquehanna’s Mobile Deposit App, you can deposit a check to your Susquehanna personal checking account by simply taking a picture of the check with a camera-enabled smart phone.   

Simply endorse your check, choose the account to receive the deposit, enter the amount of the check, take a picture of the front and back of the check, and submit the deposit.  It’s that easy!  It’s fast, convenient, secure, and best of all: there’s no charge from the bank for personal checking account customers to use this service. 

Not only can you deposit a check from the convenience of your couch, the grocery store, the gym, or while vacationing, but you can also deposit a check at any time of the day – midnight if you want!  If you deposit your check by 4 p.m. during the business week, then your money will be available the next business day. 

Thanks to this new service, it doesn’t matter if I forget the check that I need to deposit at home – I can just deposit it when I get home!  I can also save time because I don’t have to pack my kids up in the car just to make a quick trip to the bank.  Now the only thing I may have to do is stock our pantry with lollipops — because they are definitely going to miss the lollipop they get from the teller after each bank visit!
