When Susquehanna Bank agreed to acquire Abington Bank, they knew they’d be adding a bank with a 144-year tradition of excellent service to the community. But did they know they’d be getting a branch whose nearby neighbors are the Three Stooges? That’s just one of the unique aspects of Susquehanna’s new neighborhood. We thought we would take you on a virtual tour of our new branch locations. Whether you are looking for a great place to dine, see a show, or just a place to relax in Montgomery or Bucks County, PA, we have a Susquehanna Branch conveniently located nearby.
Let’s start our road trip in Montgomery County. While visiting Glenside, take in a show at the Keswick Theatre. If you are looking to do some shopping, head a few miles down the road to our Willow Grove location, conveniently located across the street from the historical Willow Grove Mall.
Our Jenkintown and Abington offices are located in the heart of one of America’s 100 Best Places to Live, as reported by CNN/Money in 2010. This area is well known for Abington Memorial Hospital, the Abington Art Center, several blue ribbon schools, and countless historical attractions.
We’re proud to have a branch in Horsham, which made CNN/Money’s 100 Best Places to Live list this year, and the neighboring Hatboro and Huntingdon Valley communities share all the fine restaurants, theaters, and shopping that give this area such distinction.
Our Fort Washington and Spring House branches are conveniently located close to the Pennsylvania Turnpike and Route 309. The Stoogeum (yes, that’s the name of the Three Stooges museum) is located not far from our Spring House Office; just don’t park in Moe’s parking spot…violators will be poked in the eyes and hit over the head.
The Lansdale and Montgomeryville area feature great restaurants like the historic William Penn Inn and the popular Village Tavern. The North Penn area is known for their high school football and was named one of America’s best affordable suburbs by BusinessWeek in 2010.
Our Warrington office neighbors the Doylestown community, which offers some of the finest restaurants, museums, and boutiques in Bucks County. Plus, our Chalfont branch is located in a tranquil area that offers the relaxing Peace Valley Park with a six-mile walking trail around Lake Galena.
Thanks for taking a quick branch tour with us. We invite you to come experience why our employees made Abington Bank the “#1 Community Bank” in the Montgomery Media Readers Survey. Now the same branch employees are “Doing what counts” in the communities we serve as Susquehanna continues a great banking tradition.
What are your favorite attractions in the Montgomery and Bucks County area?
